Title: Stein’s Method: Past and Future

We will start with the basics on Stein’s method, introduced by Charles Stein in 1970. Stein’s method often referred to as the Stein-Chen method can be used to prove limit theorems. We will use the functional Stein operator approach proposed by A.D. Barbour to give a Stein’s method proof of Liggett’s functional central limit theorem.(joint work with Wasamon Jantai)
