The OVERVIEW OF SCHOLARSHIPS tab has specific details for each scholarship. There are many scholarships available for Free State students and there is a scholarship for EVERYONE! There are scholarships based on:
GPA
Intended Major
Intended College
Extracurricular Activities
Financial Need
Determine which scholarships you are eligible for and which you plan to apply for - you can apply to as many as you are eligible for!
PLEASE NOTE: Some require a special application and/or supplemental requirements (essays, questions, personal statements, etc.)
The Scholarship Applications tab has links for the applications you need to apply for the specific scholarships you are applying for.
Not sure which application you need? Please carefully look at the description of the scholarships about the requirements and which application form to use. If the scholarship asks for a Private Application, that means you must use that specific application to apply; the general application will not be accepted.
For scholarships that are requesting the General Application, you are welcome to apply for multiple scholarships with the same application. Just make sure the scholarship name has changed at the top of the application. The fillable PDF works best if it is downloaded before typing into it.
Transcripts - If a scholarship application is asking for a copy of a transcript, students can request one be sent to themselves from Parchment at this website: https://www.parchment.com/u/registration/11873/institution
