Classes

World Geography Course Objective:

Students will explore World Geography using the Five Themes of Geography. We will cover areas such as the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, Africa, Northern Africa & Southwest Asia, East Asia, Southeast Asia, Australia and Oceania. The curriculum meets the Kansas State Standards for Social Studies.

Kansas History Course Objective:

Students will explore Kansas History from Pre-history through the early 21st Century. We will cover topics such as Kansas Indians, exploration, Civil War, frontier days, reform movements, Great Depression, World War II and Kansas today. The curriculum meets the Kansas State Standards for Social Studies.

World Events Course Objective:

This course explores current world events using news articles, news magazines, television news programs, and the internet.

Exploring America Course Objective:

This course explores the geography of the United States of America using class discussion, atlases and worksheets, and vidoes.
