Kansas State Department of Education - Association of Educational Office Professionals (KSDE AEOP) Margarent Van Horn Scholarship
Each year the association offers a scholarship to a Kansas student. The scholarship program is open to current Kansas High School, College, and/or Technical School students. Applicant must intend to continue his/her education in an education or business-related program. Applicant must be enrolled in a minimum of nine semester hours (at least half-time). Enrollment must be in an accredited post-secondary educational facility within the state of Kansas.
The scholarship award of $400 is offered for the purchase of books, payment of fees or tuition, purchase of supplies, or other academic expenses.
Emphasis for selection of the recipient will be based on the scholarship application, initiative exhibited, character shown, and/or other factors supporting his/her candidacy.
The completed application, with original signature and official transcripts, must be postmarked by January 9, 2026.

KIAAA Jack Dressler Scholarship (Kansas Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association)
Applicant must be a senior in high school Applicant must have achieved at least two (2) of the following: (a) minimum of B+ average; (b) ranked in the top 25% of class; © ACT score of 24 or an SAT score of 1100 (Verbal and Math). Applicant must have participated in two sports for at least two years in each sport. Applicant must have earned at least one varsity letter in each of two sports. Applicant must complete the attached scholar/essay application. Applicant must have a letter of recommendation from the high school athletic administrator/director School athletic administrator/director must be an NIAAA member and a member of their respective state athletic administrators association. The principal or athletic administrator/director must sign the application to ensure that the academic information submitted is accurate.
Thirty four total scholarships, payable to post-secondary institution
Four (4) $500.00 scholarships, one in each of the four congressional districts of the state awarded by the KIAAA.
Section winners will receive $1,500. National winners will receive a $2,500 scholarship.

KPP Energy Scholarship
Eligibility (key requirement): Students must reside in a household receiving electric service from a KPP Energy member city (families can confirm eligibility through their local city utility office). Please note: City of Winfield and City of Wellington are indeed KPP Energy members.
Awards: Up to six (6) one-time scholarships of $1,000 each (undergraduate study and line worker training).

Paths supported:
Undergraduate (2- or 4-year college/university/technical-vocational) in electric-industry-related fields (examples include engineering, energy management, electrical technology, math/science, accounting, communications, economics).
Line worker training (full-time powerline/electrical line worker program at an approved technical college).
Additional Information:
Scholarship funds are paid to the institution, not the student, and recipients must submit proof of enrollment by August 1 to claim the award.
Immediate household members and direct descendants of KPP Energy employees, board members, or member voting delegates are not eligible.

KSHSAA True Blue Scholarship (Kansas State High School Activities Association)
Students must be seniors attending and graduating from a member school of the Kansas State High School Activities Association during the 2025-26 school year and have rostered in the chosen activity their senior year. They must be considered as students in good standing as confirmed by their building principal. Students must enroll and attend a post-secondary institution of their choice as a full-time student within two years of graduation. Applicants must be in their final semester of high school. If you are a Division I bound athlete, please check with your institution about eligibility for this scholarship before applying.

Hagan Scholarship
Hagan Scholarship
This is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship.
Hagan Scholarship provides up to $7500 each semester for eight consecutive semesters.
Eligibility Requirements:
1. Must attend a high school located in the U.S.
2. Eligible high schools include public, private, charter, magnet, and STEM schools.
3. Students can apply regardless of nationality or citizenship.
4. Must have achieved a 3.5 cumulative GPA.
5. Must enroll in a four-year college or university the fall semester following high school graduation.
6. Must maintain a four year or less graduation schedule.
7. If awarded a scholarship, must work 240 hours from January 1, 2026 to September 1, 2026.
Employment must be regularly schedule work performed under supervision for compensation.
8. Parents 2024 Adjusted Gross Household Income must not have exceeded $100,000.
9. FAFSA information is not required to apply. Finalists must provide FASA information.
10. Must apply for Federal and State grants if eligible.

Miss Winfield Scholarship
This scholarship is available to all senior high school girls who are residents of Winfield. This Cowley scholarship is four four semesters' tuition as long as she is enrolled full time with a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Nebraska Wesleyan University
Named after alumnus Harry Huge, the Huge-NWU Scholarship is Nebraska Wesleyan’s top merit scholarship. It covers all tuition, fees, housing and food for four years. And all finalists for this award will receive scholarship packages worth at least $30,000 per year.
This is the kind of financial support that frees students to make the very most of their college experiences. Many Huge Scholars use that freedom to add a second major, study abroad, or dive into intensive research opportunities in Lincoln or around the country.

3. Modest GPA Because of their life challenges or the pandemic, the nominees may not have the best GPA, likely between 2.25 and 3.5. If below 2.25, they are eligible for a special admittance consideration

Southwestern College is offering a full 4-year scholarship to 1 incoming freshman pursing a nursing degree. There will be an in-person event for students that qualify and are interested on November 15th at Southwestern College from 8am to Noon.
