Parent Teacher Organization

The purpose of the PTO is to promote the welfare of ALL children and to bring into closer relation the home and school. The PTO is open to all parents, grandparents, and teachers who believe that our children are the future. We encourage each of you to participate and have a voice in the future of our kids. The PTO meets at 5:30 pm in the gym on the second Tuesday of each month.  

The Jefferson Elementary PTO has contributed so much to enhance our school. Some of these contributions include the following: (This list is not all inclusive.)

• New Jefferson Sign, installed in 2022

• Yearbooks

• Jefferson School T-Shirts

• Donations for Family Nights

• Field Day

• Fundraisers

• Food and Treats

Classroom PTO Parent Representative

Each classroom has a PTO Parent Representative who organizes classroom parties (Halloween, Christmas, Valentines Day) throughout the year.  They are asked to reach out to other classroom parents for items to bring, such as plan a game, goodie bags, treats, drinks, etc.  Teachers appreciate the help for this.  Sign ups will be out at Open House, then PTO Parent Reps will be notified soon after.
