2025-26 is my 27th year teaching. This is my 7th year teaching 8th grade science. Before that I taught 5th grade math, science and social studies. I earned my bachelor's degree at Emporia State University and my master's at Friends University. 

I've been remarried for 7 years, to my husband, Scott. I have 2 sons, Layne and Cameron. Layne is 28 and Cameron is 23. I also have a chinchilla, named Kevin.
