1/26 - Math Video

Please click the link above, watch the video, and show your work in your math journal (Practice and Homework Page) Warning: This video contains information that is difficult to understand at first. Please utilize your pause and rewind buttons, if you need to hear something said again. I do not expect you to become an expert at this today. It is an introduction only. Please watch the video until you feel comfortable attempting problems on your own. If you do not need to watch the entire video, then you do not have to. I added additional problems (and minutes) for those who need them. Regardless of how much of the video you watch, though, please ensure you check your answers (using the video) before you complete your assignment.

You may get on Prodigy if you have time remaining after your lesson. I miss you all, and hope you're having an EXCELLENT day! I'll see you tomorrow. I have a meeting until 9:30 tomorrow, so that is when my Google Meeting will begin.

Please click the link above, and follow the directions on the first slide. :)

1/22 - Math Video

Please click the link above, watch the entire video, and show your work in your math journal. Then, independently complete the Share and Show problems 2-7. If you need additional assistance, Mrs. Lien made a video of a few additional problems. CLICK HERE if you would like to watch it. If you have extra time, you may complete problems 8-13 as well. You do not have to pause and write the lesson number or objective in your notebook. :)

Please watch the video for Chapter 6 Lesson 3. Please watch it all the way through, and show all your work. Remember that you are able to pause and rewind if you need to. There are directions at the end of the video for what to do once the video has concluded. Mrs. Lien will be working with small groups during this time, but you may ask questions if you have them. :) Use headphones if you have them. If you don't, please remember to keep your Chromebook volume low, but loud enough for you to hear.

Please show your work on a piece of blank paper. If you are in class, your teacher will show you how to do that. If you are at home, please make sure you number the problems next to your work, and keep the page so that you can give it to Mrs. Lien when you return to school. :)

Happy solving! You're going to do GREAT! ---- Make sure to read the directions! :)

After you've watched the video, complete On Your Own problems 7-14. PLEASE ask for help if you're struggling. Your teacher can read the problem, and help you to understand the steps that you need to take in order to solve it.

When you've finished, please raise your hand. Your teacher will come to your desk and check your answers. If you don't have corrections, you will be allowed to get onto Prodigy. Happy solving!

Also, happy birthday, to two super fantastic kids, Jonathan and Eli! I hope you have the best day ever! :)

Watch the video in the link above. Follow along, and show your work. The teacher in the video asks you to try to complete the Share and Show problems on your own before coming back to watch her. You should only pick one of these problems to complete on your own, though, and then come back to resume the video. While you only need to pick one Share and Show to try by yourself, please make sure you watch the entire video, showing your work for each video as it progresses.

After you've watched the video, complete On Your Own problems 5, 6, 7, and 9. PLEASE ask for help if you're struggling. Your teacher can read the problem, and help you to understand the steps that you need to take in order to solve it.

Also, happy birthday, Benjamin! I hope you have a GREAT day today, and I'm sorry I'm not there to share it with you! :)
