USD 259 IPS Middle School Resources

What is an IPS and how does Xello fit in?

According to the Kansas Parent Information Resource Center (PIRC) and The Kansas Technical Assistance Network (TASN), "an Individual Plan of Study (IPS) is both a product and a process that students may use with support from school counselors, teachers, and families to help them define their career goals and postsecondary plans and make informed decisions about their courses and activities throughout high school". All Kansas students in grades 6-12 are required to have an IPS, Xello is the program that USD 259 has selected to help facilitate the IPS process for our students. This website was created to provide resources for teachers to help implement IPS and Xello.
