Our Fellowship Programs

BEFORE APPLYING TO ANY OF OUR FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMS:

It is our institutional policy that any applicants accepted into one our fellowship programs will need to obtain a California full Physicians & Surgeons medical license.  NO special licenses are accepted.

Minimum requirements for a California medical license include:

Board-approved postgraduate training (current residency program) must be accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) if completed in the United States and its territories, or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) and/or The College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) if completed in Canada and must include at least four months of general medicine.

In accordance with current policies, J-1 sponsorship is available only for our ACGME-accredited programs. For non-ACGME positions, we are unable to consider applicants who require visa sponsorship.

• We require 3 letters of recommendation, and one must come from your residency Program Director or Chair

Candidates should submit their completed application by March 15th of the current cycle (penultimate year of residency).

The positions start on August 1st of each academic year.

Society of Urologic Oncology Fellowship at USC
How to apply:

1. Complete your registration with the Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO) Fellowship Match at www.medmatch.auanet.org

2. Send a copy of your submitted application with the following documents to alissa.diaz@med.usc.edu:

   • CV

   • 3 letters of recommendation

Candidates should submit their completed application by March 1st of the current cycle (penultimate year of residency).

The positions are a 24-month commitment starting on July 1st of each academic year.

Robotic Urologic Oncology Fellowship
How to apply:

1.  If you are NOT applying through the Endourological Society match please go to #3.

2. If you are applying through the match, complete your registration with the Endourological Society at www.medmatch.auanet.org then email a copy of your application to alissa.diaz@med.usc.edu, skip #3;
