I go by my last name Su, but Yingyu (/ɪŋ21˦y35/ in Mandarin or /wɪŋ2jy21/ in Cantonese) or Sue are also fine!
I am a third-year PhD student (as of Fall 2025) in the linguistics department at University of Southern California (USC) advised by Deniz Rudin. I am broadly interested in syntax and semantics. I have worked on ellipsis, classifiers, and sentence-final particles in Chinese languages.
As of Fall 2025, I will be coordinating S-Side Story and the departmental colloquiums at USC Linguistics.
