Hi, My name is Jialin Xiao. My friends and colleagues also call me "Joyce".

My passion for drawing and design was ignited when I was little, but it has never been dampened during my journey to becoming a science Ph.D. As a biologist, or more of a storyteller, I always want to translate complex scientific ideas and concepts into simple, clear graphics. As my supervisor once told me, a great scientist is a person who is able to express his/her thoughts in the most comprehensible way.
