FIRST TIME ACCESSING USATF CONNECT - PLEASE READ

USATF Connect platform was designed to consolidate all of a member's activities into one profile while protecting the identity of members and ensure athlete safety. The Connect platform replaces the previous membership system, and will evolve to support all aspects of a member's relationship with USATF.

SELF-SERVICE OPTION

To GET STARTED with Connect, you must first RECOVER (LINK) your account from the previous membership system. This process is meant to validate that you are who you say you are, and will ask you for your MEMBERSHIP NUMBER, DATE OF BIRTH, EMAIL, AND PASSWORD from the previous membership system. IF you know all 4 items, this process will generate an email that contains your access instructions for the new Connect system.

You can look up your membership number here.

This is the self-service option. PLEASE don't let the new system get in the way. IF you don't know all 4 items, PLEASE Email us with what you have. (Links above ^^^^^ and below this section) If there are any impediments, email us using the link above.

INSTEAD DO EMAIL US USING ONE OF THE LINKS ABOVE OR BELOW , Please include your membership # and Date of Birth or as much information as you have.

=============

ATHLETE SAFETY pivots around the USATF 3-step compliance program: 1) Current USATF membership, 2) USATF Background Check, and 3) SafeSport course completion. Anyone in a position of authority whether a club administrator, coach, official, or a board member of USATF or a local association are required to be 3-step compliant. Various permissions within the USATF Connect platform are locked if all three pieces are not current. Access to SafeSport training and background check initiation can be accessed through the Connect platform under your individual membership Profile.

CLUBS

CLUB DIRECTORS - USATF cares about athlete safety. The CONNECT platform enforces the USATF 3-Step Compliance

  1. Current Membership

  2. Current Background Check

  3. Current SafeSport Certification

When any of these 3 things are lapsed, you will not be able to access or administrate the club within Connect. This is "hard wired" into the system so the club 'locks down' if an individual has any expired piece. You may also be impacted if other club administrators are lapsed. You can check the status, update, or renew any of these items from within your personal Connect profile.

FAMILIES WITH MULTIPLE MEMBERS

Families with multiple members will require special handling.

For many it is desirable to administrate (renew etc.) all of your childrens' accounts from a single profile/account. For now, the best way to accomplish this is to send us an email making that request. You can choose to have individual logins for each child member as well. In any case, you'll need their membership numbers. You can look them up here (Link)

If you want your family members accessible from your profile, use this link to send us the e-mail request:
