From Genes to Chromosomes - The Chromosome Biology Lab

The chromosome Biology Lab is a newly created research group located at the Institute of Functional Biology and Genomics (IBFG). The IBFG  is a joint research center between the Spanish Research Council  (CSIC) and the University of Salamanca (USAL).

We study how DNA is organized inside the cell nucleus and how this organization is important for fundamental life processes such as gene expression.
