ADAM PETERS is a sought-after show choir clinician, show designer, collaborator, and adjudicator based in Iowa. With two decades of experience, he has worked with award-winning show choirs nationwide, providing clinics, designing performances, and adjudicating competitions. A former Muscatine High School show choir director, Adam is known for his storytelling-driven concept shows, earning top awards. He received the 2014 “Spirit of Service” ASPIRE Award at the FAME National Championships.
Currently, Adam is running for the Iowa House of Representatives (adam4iowa.com). He spent the last four years as the Director of Operations for Clock, Inc, a nonprofit LGBT+ community center in the Quad Cities. A 2024 Quad City Business Journal “Forty Under 40” honoree and 2025 Community Service Award recipient from the Metropolitan Community Church of the Quad Cities, he has also worked on Senate and Presidential campaigns throughout the country. Adam volunteers with some of his favorite Quad Cities nonprofits, including NEST Café, Clock, Inc and The Project, continuing his commitment to building community beyond his professional work. He resides in Davenport with his one-eyed cat, Herbert Hoover. In his free time, he runs along the river, practices yoga, takes in live music, and can often be found at the Raccoon Motel as a patron and a fill-in bingo caller.
