Regain Access to UPOU Mail with 2-Step Verification
If you are experiencing problems with 2-step verification and are currently locked out of your UPOU Mail account, please send an email as specified below to miso@upou.edu.ph.
SUBJECT:
- If you remember your password, please use "REQUEST FOR BACKUP VERIFICATION CODE" for the email subject.
- If you don't remember your password, please use "REQUEST FOR PASSWORD RESET AND BACKUP VERIFICATION CODE" for the email subject.
In the email body, please include your relevant information as seen in the example below.
EMAIL BODY:
- Name: Maria Gomez
- Student/Employee Number: 2018-56789
- Personal UPOU Mail Account to be reset: maria.gomez@upou.edu.ph
- Attach a photo of UP ID/current Form 5 (for identity verification)
For personnel handling multiple UPOU Mail accounts (personal and faculty/office email accounts), you would need to send a request for Back-Up verification code for EACH ACCOUNT. Please make sure that you have regained access of your official UPOU Mail first. You would need to send each succeeding institutional email request using your official UPOU Mail account. See example below:
- Name: Maria Gomez
- Student/Employee Number: 1234567
- Institutional UPOU Mail Account to be reset: example.office@upou.edu.ph
We can only generate backup codes for ONE ACCOUNT PER EMAIL REQUEST. For additional accounts, please send another request email, following the format above.
Once we have processed your email, you will receive an email with either your back-up verification code only or your password reset link and back-up verification code.
