Guidelines for Cross-Registration
To be awarded completion of the degree in the Bachelor of Education Studies (BES), you must have at least earned 50% of courses at UPOU. Computation for academic courses includes cross-registered courses and those credited through TOC. However, these courses are not part of the courses earned in UPOU. Hence, taking BES course in UPOU should be the priority of BES students. It is therefore important for cross-registration to other UP units to be done with caution and only when necessary.
Only 6 units of academic courses may be allowed for cross-registration per semester, in keeping with the University guideline.
PE and CWTS (or NSTP) courses may be applied for cross-registration in a residential unit. You will NOT be allowed to cross-register a course/courses that is/are offered in UPOU within the academic year (all 3 terms). Cross enrollment of GE courses and courses other than PE and CWTS is only allowed if the student is graduating and his/her last course is not offered in UPOU.
Always double check the enrollment period and course offering of the university you are applying to
