This book has been prepared specifically for students who are enrolled in a foundation course in agricultural accounting, agricultural engineering and agribusiness. Accounting for Agriculture Sectors is also suitable for farmers and agribusiness SMEs as a basic guidance in preparing farm financial accounting. The language is simple and precise, and the approach is straightforward and user-friendly in nature. The focus of the book is on assessing biological assets in accordance with the standards of International Accounting Standards (IAS) 41 agricultural accounting' and Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) 141 'agriculture' by the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board (MASB). The contents of this book have been used and tested by the authors in the actual classroom environment. Fully worked solutions to all questions have been incorporated as a complementary attachment to this book to facilitate the learning process. To make difficult terminology and meanings easier to understand, figures and tables have been added to the chapters. The main objective of this book is to provide additional knowledge to help students and practitioners understand the recording process in agriculture accounting.
