FRIM: Tapak Warisan Semula Jadi Negara illustrates the Forest Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM) as an entity forming part of the country's environmental and scientific heritage. Since it was pronounced in the mid-1920s, it has played a central role in forestry investigation, biodiversity preservation, and sustainable land use.
The primary objective of the book is to cover significant historical milestones of FRIM and to inform the public on its legacy as a national asset. The nine separate chapters, written by civil servants of FRIM, cover major milestones in FRIM's history, including the Bukit Lagong Forest Reserve, FRIM's research facilities, and eco-tourism facilities including, amongst others, the Canopy Walk and various collections of botanical literature.
