A social issue is a situation where people dispute on its nature, causes, or solutions and it adversely affects people's personal or social life, the wellbeing of communities, or bigger groups within a society. Social issue and social problem are often used interchangeably. To satiate your curiosity as well as to demonstrate the idea, it would be fantastic to have some examples.
