The Career Support Services consist of 3 main stages which will be supported by different modules on the platform which will have to be completed within the given deadlines.
Career Services - Part 1 (1-1.5 months into the program approx..)
Career services survey: To understand your intent for the career services.
Profile book survey: A profile book for the entire batch which will contain all the relevant professional information about you.
Career landscape: A session that explains the current landscape in the Data Science/Big Data/MLAI/Software Development domain respectively. You will also learn about the broad category of roles available, the skills required, and, depending on your interests and experience, which role would be most suitable for you.
Call with industry mentor: This first one-on-one call with Industry mentors will help you understand the career options available to you based on your profile, and how you can get there. Your student mentor will get in touch with you to explain the process for the same.
Career Services - Part 2 (4 months into the program approx..)
Session on creating an analytics resume: In this session, you will learn how to build an effective resume and how to make it more relevant to the desired profile.
Call with industry mentor: This one-on-one call would be to review your resume.
Career Services - Part 3 (6 months into the program approx..)
Cracking the interview: Understand how you should prepare for your interview.
Interview questions: Questions like the ones asked in actual interviews and how to approach them and recorded mock interviews to help you understand the nuances of the interview.
Profile Building: Understanding how to build an online profile using GitHub.
Call with industry mentor: One-on-one call for interview preparation through mock interviews.
Additional support can be provided to candidates who get frequent shortlists or perform exceptionally well in the program.
