Welcome!

SYMCREA is an excellence unit at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. SYM stands for symmetries, symplectic, symbiosis, symphony, and CREA stand for creativity and ICREA. It has been created in September 2024.

About our logo: It is inspired by the modernist tiles of Eixample of Barcelona and the beauty of symmetries, with colour vibes straight from ICREA. A nod to creativity and geometry in every detail.
