About THRIVE Onboarding Program
THRIVE represents the Onboarding Program of UP Los Baños HRDO, designed specifically for new administrative staff to familiarize them with UPLB’s vision, mission, and core values. This program guides employees through essential university processes, policies, and procedures, while also outlining the benefits and privileges they are entitled to as part of the institution. Additionally, it introduces them to the expected standards of performance and conduct, ensuring alignment with the university’s commitment to excellence. The insights and skills gained from this program will provide a strong foundation for employees throughout their time at UPLB.
Onboarding Courses
The Face-to-Face Onboarding Program at UP Los Baños HRDO consists of 7 essential modules that new employees are required to complete within their first two (2) weeks of employment. These modules—About UP Los Baños, UPLB Organizational Structure, UPLB Civil Servant Guide, Appointment and First Salary Requirements, Performance Management, Learning and Development, and Benefits and Rewards—provide a comprehensive introduction to the university, its policies, personnel structure, and HRDO operations. Upon successful completion of these modules, employees must pass a mandatory assessment to earn a Certificate of Completion for the Onboarding Program.
