They say to write well, you must express yourself like the other common people, but think and write like a wise man. At a young age, I became an academic writer before entering the world of creative writing. I write out of compliance at first, with a purpose that only feeds the interest and satisfaction of the audience—partly, I must say. I write to inform, possibly inspire, and empower. I began writing poems and essays when I was in middle school. It was a sudden glimpse of realization followed by a growing affection for writing. I now find comfort in writing my thoughts and feelings. I then write because I find solace in my new-found love of writing. I write for aesthetic enthusiasm, historical impulse, and to express what words can’t articulate. I write for political purposes: to advocate, persuade, apprise, make a statement, create an impact, make a change, and communicate, but mostly to feel alive and free. As I write, I can just forget everything—it's like escaping to another dimension; my sorrows have vanished, and my courage has been reborn. I let it drip through my fingertips. I write with an ultimate purpose and a goal.
