Honestly, choosing the right image to upload for each category is hard. Sometimes, there is a feeling of uncertainty upon choosing, although some of these images were "no choice" images.
Note: I used an image carousel so each part wouldn't be too cluttered, which goes by the following: Final Image, Original Image, and EXIF data.

For the "Height" category, I photographed this slanted section of the mall's building. Its angle enhances the perception of the building's height. The highlights direct the eye upward, inspiring the photograph's title. Interestingly, rotating the image horizontally to the right creates the illusion of ascending stairs. I adjusted its contrast, saturation, and vibrance to achieve my desired aesthetic.

It was a struggle to find objects, walls, or places with patterns. I took many pictures that I thought were patterns, and I settled on this one. The funny thing is I barged into my cousin's house to take a picture of his light cover because I was so unsatisfied with the first images I took for this category. This lamp was actually my inspiration when I made the Ningning Parol for the lamp-making contest of UPOU last 2023, which I won. Even though my craft belongs to the theme, it's designed to look good, leaving out authenticity in taking images because it's already meant to be beautiful. In this photograph, I only adjusted the saturation and contrast.

This is my favorite tree among the few trees at this mall; I'm still a little bit sad that it is yellowing, which I guess is because of the scorching hot afternoons. By night, at least, the trees in this area will be cooled by the moon. I wished the moon were placed in the upper right part of the image to make it more balanced with the tree, but I could not stay at the mall for too long; I was in cosplay while taking these pictures! Nonetheless, I like how the highlights points towards the moon. This photograph is the only one that required fewer edits; only the contrast was adjusted.

Spring is here! Flowers have now bloomed all around my neighborhood. This plant is owned by one of the elderly neighbors; it's a Yellow Alder flower. I took this shot before her grandchild picked it. What I liked about this flower is that it was cleaner than the other flowers and plants in the area. I guess one of the things that older people like is to take care of their plants and see them bloom; they have been like this since I was a child. Every summer, our neighborhood turns colorful. I adjusted its brightness and contrast.

This cosplayer is one of the performers at this cosplay event, where he cosplayed Madarame Ikkaku from Bleach. He won the Tailored Cosplay Competition, and he also greeted us; we also won that day in the Catwalk Category (I was cosplaying as Jinx and my boyfriend as Ekko from Arcane Season 2). I asked for his permission for this image for educational purposes only, and he agreed. My phone camera's professional option was lagging while the first performers were doing their acts, so what I did for this shot was spam the click button multiple times and just choose the better photo when I got home. I turned this image into monochrome black and white as the colors seemed irrelevant for the photograph. Upon editing this image, I decided to edit some of its points, adjusting its brightness to bring the focus onto the cosplayer. This "Motion" category was the hardest one to shoot.
