This series of images represents my personal, academic, and public selves. Taking images is fun, both as a way to document and commemorate moments. As much as I can, I try to make these photographs creative and aesthetically pleasing. I don't claim to be a professional in this field, but rather I fell in love with the process of taking them. All of the images shown here are raw or unedited images as these photographs, as for me, already give emotion.

On February 14, 2025, I went on a date with my boyfriend. Notes pasted on the wall caught our attention. If you're wondering how the shadows are illuminated in this picture, I believe it's simply the magic of the image. I took a photograph where the sunlight coincidentally lit up the notes, creating this effect on the image. I thought this was like the feeling of being in love, indirectly creating something so beautiful yet so simple. Love is indeed magical, full of wonders.

"So this is what it's like to be at my school... in person." I certainly love this shot because of the equilibrium and balance of the trees, plus the single tree perfectly centered in the middle of the sidewalk. This was my first time at the UPOU Headquarters in Los Baños, Laguna. An event was going on at the CCDL—the Student Orientation for the Batch of 2024—and this moment of silence and beautiful scenery occurred during the event, got the chance to take this image on the way back to the covered court. I was at the UPLingo booth, a linguistic organization at UPOU. While the event was happening, I had a moment to personally talk and connect with my college friends and new friends as well! This image summarizes how I felt that day, so bright and vibrant.

This was taken during a cosplay event I attended when I was just starting out. I've been a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) since I was a kid. When I saw these figurines from this particular angle, I thought, "This will look like that Endgame scene!" I like how the shopkeeper placed the characters, even with a Chainsaw Man plushie behind them. It blended well in the image. Collecting figurines isn't just for kids, it's quite similar to cosplaying. It's a fun hobby anyone can enjoy, an escape from reality. There's nothing wrong with finding happiness in something others might consider childish, we're simply living our lives as we choose. Why be basic when you can be different? It's your uniqueness that makes you who you are, and these things makes me ME!
