Plenary Title
Developing Sustainable Public Health Policy
Through and Beyond Mathematical Modelling
Abstract
Mathematical modelling has been used extensively to inform public health, particularly to capture the dynamics of infectious diseases in populations and explore possible mitigation strategies. However, to provide sustainable policy recommendations that can be maintained in the long-term, integration with other disciplines is required. In this talk, a few examples of integration of mathematical modelling with other disciplines will be discussed across a range of settings.
