1. Marketing and Communications Internship (6; 2 per role)
About Us: The Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI) is a 20-year old non-profit organization which produces and broadcasts digital learning materials on television and online for K to 12. To improve the quality of basic public education, it provides public schools with educational TV infrastructure with donations it solicits from the public and private sectors.
Internship Description/Job Summary: The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Marketing Department with a variety of social media, graphic design, events and marketing initiatives. Interns in this department may be students in multimedia arts, graphic design, development communications, mass communications, marketing, advertising, or journalism.
Specific Projects for Execution by Intern: Marketing Interns are expected to work with excellence and magis in order to achieve the intended outputs. These outputs vary depending on the area of work where the intern is assigned to. Marketing interns are assigned to three roles:
Marketing interns will be working on ongoing social media executions, internal and external communications, presentations, writing projects like news and in-depth articles, marketing research, event planning and execution, video editing, and digital design among other tasks.

2. Research Assistant for BasaBilang Project (2)

Internship Description/Job Summary: The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting and supporting the BasaBilang Project, an initiative to enhance beginning reading and early numeracy of Grade 1-3 students, with its research activities.

3. Research Assistant/Teacher Training Intern for PRIME (2)

To improve the quality of basic public education, it provides public schools with educational TV infrastructure with donations it solicits from the public and private sectors.
Internship Description/Job Summary: The Teacher Training Intern should (1) be interested in understanding how teachers learn better exhibited through a commitment to teacher research which may involve both quantitative and qualitative data; and (2) be proactive in assisting the main members of the Knowledge Channel Team in conducting said training activities.
They should possess strong and flexible verbal and oral communication skills, organizational skills, punctuality, and perseverance to learn from mistakes. In return, the intern would be mentored on how to conduct research in education and skills that would be relevant to project management.
Specific Projects for Execution by intern:
The internship will involve off-site teacher training sessions in nearby provinces, creation of minutes, and logistical support during teacher training sessions, communication with school teachers and school heads, and producing write-ups related to the teacher training activities of the Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc.

4. Resource Mobilization and Fundraising Internship (2)

5. TV Production (Scriptwriting and/or Video Editing) Internship (4; 2 per role)

Internship Description/Job Summary: The Masscom and Broadcomm Intern should be equipped with knowledge and skills in writing, research design and production. They should be able prepare research materials or content guides provided to writers and developers.
Specific Projects for Execution by intern: The internship will involve writing of scripts for Filipino and English for Grade 1 and Grade 1 Math for the production of video episodes on Beginning Reading (Filipino and English) and Math to be aired on Knowledge Channel’s broadcast and online platforms. The TV Production interns are assigned to 2 roles:

2. Video Editing
