Tasks/responsibilities/outputs expected from the intern
- Contribute to research as input to advocacy:
- Repackage CARRD’s strategy paper on collective titles into a readable and less technical format
- Study the concept of social protection as it applies to farming households
- Support in the planning, conceptualization and preparation of advocacy materials that are consistent with CARRD’s communications and branding strategies, and tailored to audience type: farmers, government stakeholders, local partners and foreign funders.
- Online: social media infographics and online articles promoting secure property rights and social protection
- PopEd/ Grassroots: Draft of a handbook/ comic book on social protection and secure property rights
- Organize and document advocacy meetings
- Stakeholders’ forum on social protection, showcasing the results of social protection study
- Advocacy meeting with World Bank and Department of Agrarian Reform, showcasing CARRD's strategy paper on collective titles Reporting everyday in the office would be good BUT output-based arrangement can be done as long as interns come to the office twice a week, to discuss the schedules and list of deliverables.
