Tasks and responsibilities/outputs expected from the interns
Production of DSC's institutional video and other publicity materials (Output: DSC's institutional video and a flyer on DSC's instruction, and R&E activities)
Assistance in the organizing, conduct, and evaluation of the KM Basics and Advance KM training courses this midyear (Outputs: Two KM trainings conducted with the DSC faculty and staff)
Assistance in the planning of the Juan F. Jamias Annual Lecture on Science Journalism and Science Communication and the production of some publicity materials for the event (Outputs: Event's collaterals and publicity materials)
Assistance in content production for digital scicom platform (Output: Social media posts to popularize science communication to the public)
Requirements/qualifications for internship applicants (on top of the qualifications for a DEVC 198 student intern)
The team of DSC interns should have a combination of skills in visual design and creative work and writing for popular media and social media.
The interns should be able to physically report for duty at least twice a week for the team meetings together with the internship supervisors.
