The Bangus Exposomics Project titled "Integrated Profiling and Health Monitoring of Milkfish in the Philippines" is a multi-disciplinary initiative that aims to examine the interactions between environmental exposures, aquaculture practices, and milkfish health across selected sites in the Philippines. As part of our fieldwork, we conduct Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) activities, surveys, and key informant interviews with fisherfolk, local government units, and aquaculture stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the documentation and processing of PRA results, including transcription and organization of field data
Support the interpretation of oral and written responses from fisherfolk and stakeholders
Assist in the conduct of surveys and stakeholder engagement activities
Contribute to the preparation of communication materials, reports, and project briefs
Assist in managing and developing science communication outputs (e.g., social media, publications, and IEC materials)
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Strong oral and written communication skills
Background in development communication, social sciences, or related fields
Ability to synthesize qualitative data and translate findings into clear, accessible formats (e.g., texts, video editing, graphic design, etc.)
Willingness to participate in fieldwork and stakeholder interactions
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
