Our company, PetroEnergy Resources Corporation, is a publicly-listed energy company under the Yuchengco Group of Companies (YGC). It has one of the most diversified energy portfolios, with petroleum assets in Africa and the Philippines, as well as geothermal, wind, and solar power projects across the country.
We would like to express our interest in hosting interns from the BS Development Communication Internship Program for Midyear 2026. This partnership is envisioned to provide meaningful learning opportunities for students while strengthening our communication initiatives focused on promoting sustainable energy projects and solutions to our target stakeholders.
Number of interns requested: Two (2) interns
Mode of internship: Blended mode (in-person/on-site and online/virtual); Both interns will follow a blended setup, with scheduled on-site reporting at our office in Ortigas Center, Pasig City, and remote work as needed.
Tasks/Responsibilities/Expected Outputs
Assist in the development of corporate communication materials (e.g., articles, press releases, social media content, videos), primarily to promote PERC’s renewable energy projects, as well as community support and environment protection programs
Support sustainability and stakeholder engagement initiative
Conduct basic research and data gathering for communication projects
Assist in organizing internal and external communication campaigns
Prepare reports, documentation, and presentation materials
Requirements/Qualifications
Enrolled BSDC student and qualified for the internship program during Midyear 2026
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in modern collaboration tools such as Microsoft 365 and visual and video editing tools
Background or interest in corporate communication, energy, power, or sustainability
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Willing to travel to project sites in the Philippines
