Qualifications of internship applicants
Qualifications for internship applicants are outlined in Section V: Student Intern Eligibility of the attached Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs (OVCSA)
Internship Guidelines for UPLB and Non-UPLB Students, as stipulated in the OVCSA Memorandum No. 02 s.2023.
Tasks
A. Agricultural and Rural Development Scholarship (ARDS) Plus Program
Create publicity materials for activities and announcements related to the ARDS Plus Program sub-components
Assist in consolidating and organizing information for the ARDS Plus Program sub-components
Support the technical arrangements, preparation of publicity materials, and documentation for the Padayon 2025 Luncheon
B. Bridge Program
Assist LRC staff in preparing materials for the Bridge Program
Manage technical arrangements and documentation during the activities and ceremonies of the Bridge Program
C. LRC C.A.R.E.S. (Creative Activities, Recreational and Educational Services)
Collaborate with LRC staff and student assistants to develop strategies and concepts for social media content
Create content based on the key pillars of LRC’s social media presence
Produce and edit engaging video content for LRC’s social media accounts
D. P.E.E.R. (Promoting Excellence through Educational Review) Tutorials
Produce tutorial content on the integration of the P.E.E.R. Tutorial scheduling system in the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs (OVCSA) Management System (OSAM)
E. S.O.A.R. (Send-off, Onboarding, and Pre-departure) Orientation for Outbound Exchange Students
Assist with technical arrangements, event preparation, and documentation for the S.O.A.R. Orientation
Create publicity and resource materials to promote the S.O.A.R. Orientation and engage the participants
F. Recruitment Program for the Best and the Brightest (RPBB)
Assist in consolidating and organizing information gathered in RPBB activities
Design supporting materials to provide resources for RPBB participants

Internship applicants must submit the following requirements, as outlined in Section V: Student Intern Eligibility and Section VI.1: Student Intern Roles and Responsibilities for UPLB Students of the attached Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs (OVCSA) Internship Guidelines for UPLB and Non-UPLB Students:

Interested applicants may submit a letter of intent addressed to UPLB LRC Director with the accompanying internship application files:

Application Files
Curriculum Vitae/Resume outlining educational background and relevant experiences and skills;
True Copy of Grades or clear AMIS Screenshots of grades from the first semester enrolled to the most recent semester; and
Portfolio or Samples of Work
Student Information Form 1a (Appendix A of the OVCSA Internship Guidelines)
The following requirements will be submitted by accepted applicants
Medical Certificate indicating that the applicant is in good health and emotionally fit, certified by the University Health Service;
Letter of Intent addressed to the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs through the Learning Resource Center Director, approved by the Faculty-in-Charge (FIC) or Internship Supervisor and noted by the Unit Head and the Dean;
Work Plan/Internship Plan approved by the FIC or Internship Supervisor and noted by the Unit Head;
Copy of Form 5 of the current semester enrolled; and
Notarized Written Consent (Appendix B of the OVCSA Internship Guidelines).
