Roles, detailed tasks, and expected outputs
Provide assistance in the conduct of the following tasks:
Conceptualization and design of the PRDP Knowledge Portal;
Drafting various Knowledge Management Reports;
Conceptualization, planning, and design of tools and communication materials;
Systematic organization of PRDP Knowledge Products and
Assist and contribute to the curation of a knowledge bank for mainstreaming PRDP tools and technologies; and
(Possible) Assist in facilitating the orientation workshops and field data collection.
Science Communication, Journalism, Broadcast, and Multimedia Production Interns - 2 slots in-person/on-site (Information, Advocacy, Communication and Education [InfoACE] Unit)
Roles, detailed tasks, and expected outputs
Produce news and feature stories;
Produce broadcast materials;
Support in digital content conceptualization and production;
Support in the design and layout of information, education, and communication (IEC) materials;
Document PRDP activities through still and video shoots; and
Contribute to science-based communication strategies for the project.
Development Communication Support Interns - 2 slots in-person/on-site (Institutional Development Unit)
Roles, detailed tasks, and expected outputs
Assist in facilitating meetings with PRDP components and units, DA regular offices, bureaus, attached agencies and corporations for mainstreaming PRDP tools and technology;
Assist in analyzing and consolidating mainstreaming reports from regional IDUs;
Offer assistance in designing the IDU website;
Assist in data-visualization on the level of mainstreaming across targeted offices;
Offer support in the refinement of the Mainstreaming Action Plan; AND
Assist in the drafting of the Secretary's Policy for mainstreaming.
Qualifications
Proficiency in writing, editing, and layout (familiarity with Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools is a plus);
Familiarity with development a n d science communication, knowledge management, or journalism for development;
Strong sense of initiative and responsibility; and
Willingness to report onsite regularly the DA Central Office in Quezon City.
