ComDev Asia (CDA), a regional initiative that promotes Communication for Development (ComDev) in the Asia-Pacific region. CDA aims to build ComDev capacities and support rural communication policies and services in the region. It supports the implementation of a regional Participatory Communication Plan within the framework of the United Nations Decade of Family Farming (UNDFF, 2019-2028) and it is promoted by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

Tasks

With the belief that CDA will be a great avenue for Devcom interns to apply their learnings and hone their skills on development communication, we would like to host two interns to assist in performing the following duties:

1. write content for the ComDevAsia/CCComdev digital platforms,

2. planning and implementation of various learning events,

3. provision of Comdev technical assistance, and

4. conduct of desk research.

Successful applicants will be engaged in a purely online/virtual mode and will be rendering 200 hours or its equivalent in outputs/tasks that can be accomplished remotely during the Midyear 2025.

Qualifications

• Proficient in writing and producing documentation and content for various digital platforms

• Well-versed in planning and implementing learning events

• Adept in desk research

• Proactive

• Willing to attend meetings/events past 5pm
