Blended (virtual for coordination work) and in person if needed for meeting, conference participation and fieldwork activities.
Tasks/Responsibilities
Organizational and project activities (6)
Interns who will be assigned to support organizational and project activities will perform the following tasks:
Provide technical and facilitation support to the offline (in-person) and online (mostly via Zoom) of the activities conducted;
Assist in preparing documentation report and collating its supporting documents for the offline and online activities conducted;
Develop website and social media content plan and tracker to ensure visibility of project activities for wider dissemination in PAKISAMA website and social media channels;
Manage PAKISAMA website and social media accounts to highlight activities for visibility and promotion, and write engagement reports and analytics;
Write articles and design visibility materials such as infographics, leaflets, brochure and templates for power point presentations;
Develop and format profiling and Monitoring and Evaluation (M & E) tools and templates;
Assist in digital marketing of farmers’ products; and
Prepare work plan and strategies for story harvesting and documentation of best practices of family farmers in sustainable farming and marketing of products.
Stop Kaliwa Dam Network (SKDN) Communication Team (2)
Interns who will be assigned to assist the communication team of the Stop Kaliwa Dam Network will:
Provide technical support and assist in preparing documentation report of offline and online campaign activities conducted;
Assist in updating the campaign communication and media plan, and writing social media engagement reports and analytics;
Develop social media content and captions (appropriate for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) for the visibility and promotion of campaign activities;
Prepare media advisory and press statement for in person or virtual press conferences;
Assist in organizing media events and coordinating with local and media outlets to ensure social media tractions and media landings of campaign activities; and
Design campaign collaterals/materials such as banners, infographics, leaflets, brochure and templates for power point presentations of family farmers in land rights and rural development advocacies.

Qualifications
Proficient in MS Office Applications (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Google Documents and Teleconferencing Applications (Zoom, MS Teams)
Proficient communication skills both verbal and written
Basic knowledge on social media channels, management, and content creation
Has basic knowledge and skills graphic design and video editing through the use of editing softwares such as Photoshop, Indesign, Canva and Adobe Premiere)
Has strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
Has the strong desire and passion to work with rural family farming communities
