We are from the Philippine Country Program of the merged organizations Center for International Forestry Research and World Agroforestry (CIFOR-ICRAF), which are CGIAR research centers focusing on nature-based solutions to address five major global challenges, namely deforestation and biodiversity loss, climate crisis, transforming food systems, unsustainable supply and value chains, and extreme inequality. Here in the Philippines, our office is hosted at the International Rice Research Institute campus, Los Baños, Laguna.
As a research institution, we put prime in ensuring that our outputs are well-disseminated and are effectively used by its target stakeholders—from smallholder farmer to policymakers. We believe that this can be done through effective communication and knowledge management.
