International Institute of Rural Reconstruction (IIRR)

Tasks/responsibilities/outputs expected from the interns:

1. Assist on translation and editing of Gulayan sa Barangay (GSB) training modules.

2. Assist on development of IEC materials for GSB and Direct Aid Program (DAP) projects.

3. Assist on the development of plant catalogue propagated/grown at Bio-intensive Garden (BIG) demosite.

4. Capture quality photos and videos of indigenous plants, BIG practices, seed production systems.

5. Develop instructional videos on the BIG/Crop Museum for DepEd, DSWD, and other partners for local training.

6. Research and gather data for the various communication materials of the Integrated Nutrition Program for Preschoolers (INPP).

7. Develop and execute multimedia communication plans for the social media of the INPP.

8. Conceptualize and write content for the communication's social media calendar of the 2022 3rd-4th quarter.

9. Establish and maintain organization of the database of IEC materials, directories, project materials, and other relevant project documentation.

10. Participate and assist in internal meetings and capacity buildings.

Requirements/qualifications for internship applicants:

1. 1. With excellent written communication skills

   2. With skills and experience on layout, designing, video editing information. materials; with personal equipment such as laptop and quality camera; with skills on photography.

   3. Capacity to use software related to visualization of information for graphic design, video editing, and lay-out (such as but not limited to Canva, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, etc.).

   4. Ability to write based on project communication materials.

   5. Computer literate (Google Suite and Microsoft).

   6. Has a stable internet connection and laptop.

   7. Good written and verbal communication skills, diligent, attentive to details, has initiative, and can work with minimal supervision.

   8. Residing in the Cavite or Laguna area for on-site activities.
