Rare PH Behavior Adoption (BA) Team

Remarks

1. 1. Interns will follow a detailed work plan assigned to them at the beginning of the internship period, this can be adjusted in a rolling basis

   2. Interns will participate in regular check-ins and calls (per project and in team meetings); BA call with creative designers,

   3. Interns will be invited in framing, ideation and piloting steps to support new capacity building initiatives or tactical behavior change campaigns

   4. Interns will report to the supervisor as identified in the project MOCHA (anyone in the Hub team)

Note: Rare may need students to help in the monitoring and evaluation of the radio and TV program effectiveness. This can also be a thesis topic.

Qualifications, Skills, and Core Competencies Required

1. 1. Relevant training in marketing, communications, advertising, video production and/or

   2. editing, or similar experiences.

   3. Work experience on radio and TV production, hands-on designs and creative materials development

   4. English, Tagalog AND any Visayan language (Ilonggo and Cebuano) fluency required (reading, writing, and speaking)

   5. Proficiency in design software, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat and Photoshop)

   6. Proficiency in Video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, IMovie, etc. (ideal but not required)

   7. Enthusiasm for Rare’s mission and respect for its core values

Tasks for BA Intern 1 [1-2 interns]

Ideation, development and launch of at least 4 community engagement and behavior adoption campaigns to support MA+R establishment

1. 1. Copy editing and packaging of 4 fisheries management toolkits, manuals (following Rare Branding)

   2. Production of micro-learning materials such as laymanized script on Fisheries Management Concepts for less than 2 minutes videos (e.g.Tiktok)

   3. Develop alternative process on how to play the Fish Game and other community engagement tools considering COVID-19 protocols

   4. Develop infographic from standardized fisheries management presentations
