Qualifications

1. 1. 1. Junior students of BS Development Communication, Communication Arts, Science Journalism, or any related field

      2. Preferably with units on any of the following

         • 1. Marketing/ Advertising

           2. Economics/ Agricultural Economics

      3. Knowledgeable in the concepts, principles, and processes of communicating scientific and technical information on various levels for specific stakeholders/ target audience

      4. Knowledgeable in planning and evaluation of marketing and promotional campaigns and programs.

      5. Proficient in Microsoft Office application

      6. Preferably with skills in multimedia design, production, and management, hosting, and public speaking

Job Description

Interns shall be trained in performing tasks in support of the overall implementation of the Technology Innovation for Commercialization (TECHNICOM) Program.

Tasks

1. 1. 1. Write/develop white papers and business articles for the TECHNICOM-funded technologies in aid of the promotion and commercialization efforts of the program

      2. Assist the TECHNICOM Program Investment and Technology Transfer Specialist in the development and creation of technology pitch decks and technology briefs of the TECHNICOM-funded technologies

      3. Assist the TECHNICOM Program Investment and Technology Transfer Specialist in email/online and/or physical pitching to potential technology adopters and investors

      4. Assist in writing social media posts and product descriptions, formulating interview questions, and copywriting articles.

      5. Assist in the development and writing of science magazine articles and backstories and biographies of selected TECHNICOM project leaders.

      6. Perform other related duties/tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
