هو أحد خدمات التخزين السحابي التي تتيح للمشتركين فيها رفع الملفات، وتخزينها، وتعديلها، ومزامنتها، ومشاركتها على الإنترنت. فإذا قام أحد المستخدمين لهذه الخدمة برفع أحد الملفات على حسابه في جوجل درايف، أو قام بوضعه في مجلد جوجل درايف الذي يوجد في جهاز الحاسوب، فإنه سيتمكن من الدخول إلى هذا الملف، ومشاهدته، وتحميله، وتعديله من أي جهاز حاسوبٍ آخر، أو هاتف محمول، أو حاسوب لوحي، وسيتمكن أصدقاء ذلك المستخدم من مشاهدة الملف، وتحميله، والتعديل عليه إذا سمح لهم المستخدم بذلك.
