Nelson Fonseca
Full Professor at Institute of Computing of The State University of Campinas, Campinas – Brazil. He is an IEEE Communications Society Distinguished Lecturer. He received the IEEE Communications Society Joseph LoCicero Award for Exemplary Service to Publications, the IEEE Communications Society Latin America Region Distinguished Service Award, the Medal of the Chancelor of the University of Pisa (2007), the 2003 State University of Campinas Zeferino Vaz award for academic productivity in Computer Science, the Elsevier Computer Network Journal Editor of Year 2001 award. As student, he also received the 1994 University of Southern California International Book award and the Brazilian Computer Society First Thesis and Dissertations award. He was Keynote Speaker for the conferences IEEE NOMS 2014, IEEE LATINCOM 2013, IEEE ANDESCOM 2006, IWT 2007, Wperfromance, SBRT 2003.
Hong Yang
Works at Nokia Bell Labs. He previously worked at Lucent Technologies and Alcatel-Lucent, where he was with the Wireless Design Center, the Systems Engineering Department, and the Bell Labs Research. He is part of the Mathematics of Networks and Communications Research Department, Nokia Bell Labs, Murray Hill, NJ, USA, where he conducts research in communications networks. He has co-authored many research papers in wireless communications, applied mathematics, control theory, and financial economics. He co-invented many U.S. and international patents. He co-authored the book Fundamentals of Massive MIMO (Cambridge University Press, 2016). He won the following awards, 2013 IEEE Online Greencom Best Paper Award, 2010 Sprint Customer Team Award, 2000 Lucent Technologies 3rd Silver Award, 1999 Lucent Technologies CTS/PM Shining Star Award, 1998 Lucent Technologies CTS/PM Shining Star Award.Special guest
