HERMES Workshop

Due to the uncertainty caused by the Coronavirus outbreak, the Organizing Committee of the Hermes Ph.D. Workshop has decided to postpone it in order to guarantee a safe and successful participation.

The Workshop will take place in Pavia, 7th & 8th October 2021.

We are pleased to invite you to the International Ph.D. Workshop 2020 of the HERMES University Network that will take place in Pavia, Italy, on October 7th and 8th, 2021.

The meeting will be held at the Department of Economics and Management, one of the oldest Universities in Italy. Such an environment offers participants the opportunity to get a real taste of Italian university life while attending sessions and enjoying coffee breaks dived in a historical atmosphere.

The workshop is intended to foster the exchange of ideas and networking among Ph.D. students from different fields. We welcome submissions from Ph.D. students and candidates at any step of their thesis development, offering opportunities to participate in oral or poster sessions according to their advancement. Contributions in any area of applied economics and management will be considered and a session (or two depending on the applications) will be dedicated to health care related studies.

The meeting will be characterized by informal discussions and exchange of ideas between participants. The number of participants will be limited to about 30 people.
