Functioning as an examiner and the research advisor for first degree and post graduate students and moderator in the paper setting.

Secured an award Under ITEC and TCS of Colombo Plan to follow a short term training program on Planning and Promotion of Agro and Food Enterprises (PAFE), at the National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (NI-MSME), Hyderabad, 2014 .

Secured a full scholarship of the Norwegian University of Life Sciences to pursue a Masters’ degree in Development and Resource Economics. 2005
