Sustainable agriculture workshop called "Regional Agricultural Transformation Training proposed under Erasmus+AGRHI project" was conducted to provide knowledge and skills on Modern Water and soil Management Practices; compost making & automation and IOT in Precision Agriculture to the farmers on 23.12.2025 from 8.30am-4.00pm at the Auditorium Faculty of Agriculture, Automated greenhouses, Farm Units, Faulty of Agriculture, University of Jaffna, Kilinochchi. 

The aim of this workshop was to provide knowledge and skills on Modern Water and soil Management Practices; compost making & automation and IOT in Precision Agriculture to the farmers 

As part of the event event, forest association, faculty of Agriculture (FORA) released its 1st News Letter, and world soil day was celebrated jointly by Department of Soil Science, Environmental Association of the Faculty of Agriculture (EAFA), and the Department of Agricultural Biology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jaffna by organizing mini- exhibition and projecting soil management awareness video documentary made by students of EAFA.
