Profile:

M. Karunanithy graduated from this University in 1992 with Bachelor of Business Administration Second Class (Upper Division). He joined with Eastern University, Sri Lanka as an Assistant Lecturer at Department of Management in 1994. Then he joined with Trincomalee Affiliated University College as a College Lecturer in 1995. After the abolition of the Affiliated University Colleges by the Government the staff were absorbed by the Eastern University w.e.f. January 1997.

He got a placement to read Master of Business Administration at Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM), University of Sri Jayewardenepura and awarded with MBA in 2001.

He has two diplomas, one is in Sinhala Language and the other is in Disaster Management.

In the year 2010 he got a release from the Trincomalee Campus, Eastern University and joined with University of Jaffna as Senior Lecturer Grade I. He is with Department of Marketing now.
