Our Group is dedicated to investigate the field of radiatioin biophysics, with a special focus on charged particle irradiation. Most of our work is related to applications in the field of charged particle therapy, even though radiation protection in space is among our interests.

BiMeR contribution to the paper on the first tests of the FIRE dosimeter published on  NPJ Flexible Electronics. For more details see the INFN Press Release  and  the published article 

An important funding was assigned to the UniTn Physics Department by the Caritro Foundation. The funding will be dedicated to the development of an advanced laboratory for preclinical research at the Trento Proton Therapy Center, in collaboration with APSS and INFN TIFPA. This will pave the way for expanding our research activities, especially in the field of FLASH radiotherapy and radio-immuno therapy.
