The 1st Workshop on 3D Object Detection from Images (3DODI) aims to gather researchers and engineers from academia and industry to discuss the latest advances in Image-based 3D object detection.
In this half-day workshop, we will have invited speakers and regular paper presentations to present the current state of the art in terms of methodologies and applications, limitations and future directions in this challenging research area.
The main topics of the workshop will be related to novel:
Methodologies allowing to estimate objects’ locations and pose in the 3D world, both indoor and outdoor
Benchmarks allowing to boost research in 3DODI
Resources to automatically generate and annotate data
Evaluation protocols and metrics to fairly compare 3D Object Detectors
