Vittorio Calligaris was born in Gorizia, Italy, in 1995. He earned both his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electronic Engineering, graduating cum laude, from the University of Naples Federico II in September 2018 and June 2019, respectively.
From May 2020 to July 2021, Vittorio pursued a 2nd-level university Master in "Optics and Quantum Information" at the Sapienza University of Rome, graduating cum laude. Following this, he attended the National Test Pilot School in Mojave, USA, from June 2022 to June 2023, where he obtained an M.Sc. in Flight Test Engineering and was recognized as a Distinguished Graduate.
In 2023, Vittorio started his Ph.D. in ICT at La Sapienza University of Rome.

His research and expertise focus on Radar and Electronic Warfare systems, Avionics, Mission Systems, and UAV and Counter UAV systems.
