Shaid Basir

Shahid Basir was born in Pakistan.

He received his Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering and his Master's degree in Electrical Engineering specializing in RF-Microwave antenna from the Institute of Space Technology in 2020.

For Master’s thesis, He worked on “The ellipse-shaped leaky wave antenna with high gain for landing system”.

In 2023, He started her Ph.D. in ICT at La Sapienza, University of Rome.

Research Activity

His main research interests focus on the Aperture Level Simultaneous Transmit and Receive (ALSTAR) for radar and for joint radar and communication applications. This research exploited challenges like electromagnetic, analog, and digital self-interference mitigation techniques:
