Giovanni Paolo Blasone was born in Velletri (Rome) in 1989. He received his M.Sc. degree (cum laude) in Communication Engineering and the Ph.D. degree (cum laude) in Radar and Remote Sensing, from Sapienza University of Rome, in May 2016 and May 2021, respectively. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Department of Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering of Sapienza University of Rome.
His main research interests are in adaptive signal processing for active and passive multichannel radar systems:
ADBF techniques for phased array radar
STAP algorithms for radar GMTI
Passive radar onboard moving platforms
He has been involved in research projects founded by the Italian Ministry of Research, the Italian Space Agency, and Leonardo - Airborne and Space System Division.
